RPA8 Transportation Improvement Program
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the East Central Intergovernmental Association Regional Planning Affiliation (RPA) is a four year listing of federal aid eligible transportation projects selected by the various governmental agencies and by Regional Planning Affiliation (RPA) Policy Board for implementation. All transportation projects in the RPA Region using federal funds are to be included in the TIP. The TIP is prepared annually for the RPA Policy Board with input from the Technical Advisory Committee, Iowa Department of Transportation, and the general public. Prioritization of projects within a project year is determined by the implementing agencies. Prioritization of Long Range Transportation Plan projects on a year-to-year basis will be done by the RPA Policy Board in cooperation with the implementing agency.
