The ECIA Transportation and Planning Department assists ECIA member communities with a variety of projects. Services provided include:
- Programming federal-aid transportation projects through the DMATS and RPA 8 Transportation Improvement Programs (TIP.)
- Writing grant applications and assisting with grant administration.
- Working with members on a contract basis to complete plans and studies.
- Administration of grant programs the DMATS and RPA 8 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) or the Rural County Transportation Program (RCTP.)
